This is a wall hanging made for my mom for christmas. She loves reds, blues and hawaiian fabrics. There is a heart in the middle of the center that came from a dress my mom made in the 70's. This is the first quilt I have created. It taught me to first sketch my idea on paper, to mess around with how the different colors might go with each other and then trusting the process to just let the design emerge.
It took about a day to start and finish.
